Words of wisdom, from Ashlee...

Okay, if you are here for the first time, PLEASE read the post below this before leaving the blog...because I would really enjoy your insight. There, my disclaimer is out there!

Last night I lay in bed thinking to myself, I should have posted on my blog! Then my weary brain screamed, "You have nothing coherent to say!" And when I was relaying this story to my "regular blog visitor" (Okay, everyone should have one friend who will visit their blog out of obligation....) she said it was okay to post something trivial, funny even, every once in a while....

So here goes...words of wisdom...

"It's better to be addicted to a pacifier than pot" (specifically in refrence to parenting advice I was given, but I think this applies to life at large as well!)

And one story for the day...

I had to take a fourth grader to the office today because she hit and kicked another student during music class (I just happened to be walking down the hall, lucky me!!!) and as she was listening to the AP tell her that she was going to call her dad this little girl drops to her knees, puts her hands in the AP's lap, and starts begging, "Please don't call my dad, I'll say I'm sorry!" This along with the tears streaming down her face were enough for me..... I didn't know whether to laugh or cry, ya know?

On a day like today I should have cried....
