There she is.
My beautiful Alaina. And Junction Jack. And PaPa.
This picture was taken at the Astros Rally back in October.
And a couple weeks after it was taken Alaina asked me where the picture of her and Junction Jack was. How does she do it? How does she remember this stuff? And since then she has brought it up several times...Ugh. It is on my to do list for tomorrow. Get the picture printed out of Alaina and Junction Jack. She NEEDS this picture, because she already picked out a place in her photo album to put it. (Did I mention she is only two?)
Really this was a test post. My brother told me it was easy to post pictures on my blog. I didn't believe him and was really out to prove him wrong, but if you can see the picture I was wrong. It's just that every time I go to Tmproff's blog I am wishing my blog were cool with pictures and stuff, so I simply had to catch up!

Yeah, that TMProff guy certainly knows his HTML and all of those other fancy code-type things. I'm just learning them, bit-by-bit, trial-and-error. But I do like what he has to say, as well as the graphical representations/reflections of his words.
You lost me at HTML!!! I was formerly unaware that those HTML things could be changed by me...which was probably a good way for things to be. Glad to know others have to struggle along this technology path as well!
Tmproff has quite an amazing gift with words, and his graphical representations are just icing on the cake (or down right hilarious sometimes).
Thanks for stopping by. I love new visitors!
Great...now I'm going to have to start coding full motion video and sound...
And while you are at it Tmproff, could you make mine cooler too?!?!!??! I want full motion video and sound too!
In all this html talk I think we've lost sight of the adorable and brilliant 2 year old at the top there. :) Ashlee I think you should post more photos, it will be fun!
Aziner, the brilliant, adorable, and extremely talented 2 year old also has a picture on the post entitled "my little longhorn" or something close to that....
It is, of course, evidence as to the brainwashing that is taking place down here in Texas. But, she is so cute!
And I am trying to teach her to say "vote for Vince" when she does her hook 'em horns....Got to get our Heisman votes from whoever will give them out!
Wow.... Talk about brainwashing....
Vote for Vince....
I'm casting my Heisman vote for Reggie Bush and casting my vote that Vince Young stay at UT for another year to prepare himself better for the pros. I think it's MUCH more difficult for QB's to come out early, as opposed to RB's or WR's.
But anyway -- your little one IS a cutie, regardless of how she's been brainwashed into being a UT fan at 2 years old. I thought that only AGGIES brainwashed their children that early....
Well, N, yes it is usually the Aggies who brainwash their children that young, but I had to start early with Alaina because she is not my daughter. She is my best friend's oldest daughter, so to ensure that the brainwashing is completed I had to start earlier!
Reggie Bush???? Are you serious?!?!?! Come on....Vince is way more deserving. I honestly think he will come back even if he wins the Heisman....Mack has a way with his players.
"Mack has a way with his players."
NOW who's brainwashed??
Reggie will win AND be drafted, while Vince will return for another year. Yes, Vince is very talented, but needs another year leading an offense. Reggie could be an impact (or at least decent) RB right now, simply because he's an RB. QB's just need more prep than RB's or WR's do. Simple as that....
Simply not going to argue with you about QB's needing more prep than RB or WR...not even going to argue with you that Reggie will be drafted (quickly) and do very well in the pros...very quickly. I won't even argue that Vince needs one more year before going pro...
BUT... I will argue that he is not definetely going to win the Heisman. And I will contend that he isn't the best player in college football.
VOTE for Vince is my plea...and I think he has a real shot at winning.
No, its not brainwashing...its a crazy love for college football...
I actually wonder who I'd vote for if I even HAD a Heisman vote. I tend to be a fan of black horse candidates. And besides, name the last Heisman-winning quarterback who's actually been WORTH anything in the past decade or so. I think that I would NOT vote for Vince simply to keep him away from the Heisman curse so that he COULD do well in pro football. Make any sense??
Okay, if that is your real reasoning then I guess I will let it stand.
As a Longhorn we certainly do have to give credit to those who mention the curse of the Heisman, as our last Heisman winner (who was most deserving for sure) is still suffering the lingering effects of this....
I guess I will concede this point, but if I had a vote, I would still vote for Vince....Reggie isn't any more spectacular than several I see everyone weekend in burnt orange!!!
You forgot to mention the fact that every time Alaina tries to get out the name Junction Jack, it comes out Jumpin' Jack. That's the cutest part! :)
