My boys are back in town....

Here is my prediction....

It was 15-30 last year that sparked the Astros to a first time ever in franchise history appearance in the World Series.

This year, game #101.

My prediction is that last night's game, #101, will be our catalyst. If we build on the momentum, and the things done right last night, we can make it to the playoffs this year.

There are three main things we did right last night....

1) Started Luke Scott (did you know his batting average is 100 points higher than four others who started last night?)

2) Everyone contributed to the win.....everyone. We never gave up, even after one of the bleakest innings I have seen the Astros play defensively all season long....we kept our heads in the game and everyone contributed to our six run inning.

3) Brad Lidge was not allowed to give away our win. Sure Phil said he was still "his closer" after the game, but make no mistake Phil has changed his managing style when it comes to Mr. "are the lights bright enough in here for all you astros fans?" Lidge... He is no longer to give him a chance to clean up his mistakes.....(do I hear the hallelujahs all the way over here?)

4) Okay, this one is a bonus....
Lance Berkman called the shots last night. He and Phil both said that he was the one who made the decision to play last night, and without that decision we would not have won.

So, come October, if the Astros make the playoffs....just remember you read it here first. Game 101 was the turning point....
