Choices and changes

It seems like God has been teaching me quite a bit about these two things....choices and changes.

A couple things that I've been reminded of....

1) Change is inevitable, and can be extremely beneficial for our growth (spiritually, emotionally, relationally, etc.)

2) We always have a choice to make. Sometimes they are big choices, sometimes they are little. Sometimes God speaks clearly as to which choice He wants us to make, and sometimes He is silent. I believe this silence can serve many purposes and functions, and perhaps sometimes He simply let's us choose on our own.

3) Sometimes when the choices you are given to make result in monumental changes in your life, God simplifies the enormity of it all. Something I made so huge, which I think many others agreed with me on its vastness, God made so simple in the end.

Our ways are not His ways.

Thank you Jesus!

I enter the new chapter in my life, thankful for Your faithfulness to speak clearly into my life.

Thankful for the things that will remain the same.

And even perhaps a little bit excited about the new changes I know You have in store for me.

Oh, and one last thought about choices and change....sometimes they can become burdens and prisons we become entangled and locked up in....sometimes we can analyze and seek counsel until the voices in our head give us headaches....I don't believe that is/was God's intent.

Perhaps choice is the means to true freedom in Christ.

Just a thought....

the choice has been made....not to take the next step in the process at this time, and it was my choice.

Cara, sorry for the vagueness....you might not be my friend if I was more specific!!! (kidding of course)

Who knows what God has in store from this point on......
