I got quite an email today....okay, well technically junk mail, but for some reason I felt inclined to open it and explore its contents.
Apparently my last post, (where I proclaimed I no longer wanted to be called a Christian) I caught the eye of a new organization of Christian bloggers. I found it quite amusing, so I have included the email in its entirity for your reading pleasure!
Dear blog author:
We recently came across your site, ashleeliddell.blogspot.com, while searching for fellow christian bloggers.
A small group of us have started a new site called Christian Bloggers. Our prayer and intent is to bring Christians closer together, and make a positive contribution to the Internet community. While many of us have different "theologies", we all share one true saviour.
Would you be interested in joining Christian Bloggers? Please take a few minutes to have a look at what we are trying to do, and if you are interested, there is a sign up page to get the ball rolling. We would greatly appreciate your support in this endeavour.
May God Bless you and your blogging efforts. We look forward to hearing from you.
So, any thoughts on this invitation?!?!? If anyone else is interested in learning how to join this distinguished club, let me know and I can get you the info.....
Speaking of gigantic proportions...please pray for my friend Amber. Thursday she will be birthing one of the largest children in the history of child birthing (okay, my flare for high drama is kicking in strong here....). But, in all seriousness, keep Amber, her husband Joe, and their two little girls in prayer this week. Life is going to be changing for everyone.....would you join me in praying for health and a baby who sleeps through the night in record time!
I would love to tell you what his name is going to be, but apparently that is priviledged information..... :)

I would tell you, but in all seriousness we haven't discussed it in so long I may have even forgotten.
Joe
What funny timing for that email! What is their website? I'd say join them if it's just a matter of having your blog listed there. If they're truly seeking to get past bickering about theologies that would be kind of neat.
Hey guys remember me? Anyways, that is too funny. Unfortunately, I won't be joining because I'd probably start a war over somebody's OBVIOUSLY ignorant theology (no instruments in church type stuff). Oh well....
Amber, good luck!
