So, who doesn't have stress in their life?
I know we all feel pulled and stretched at times, but what is the secret to effectively managing stress?
I know those who love me most in my life are right to be genuinely concerned about how I handle stress.
The thing that I realized today is that I don't see the warning signs leading up to a nervous breakdown or breaking point. I just continue to manage (sleep less, work more) until I hit a breaking point.....and it is usually horrible.
How is it that other people can see it in me, these warning signs, but I don't recognize them?
How have I managed to live 26 years of life without making any progress in this area?
And how is it that solving this problem becomes just one more thing I don't have enough time to give the proper attention to?

Stress, such an ugly word...

Hey girl-- I'm one of those people who are concerned. You do so much, and you don't get sleep! I have a suggestion that will most likely sound utterly NOT helpful....
You said "solving this problem becomes just one more thing I don't have enough time to give the proper attention to..." I really do know where you're coming from on that.
My utterly unhelpful suggestion is: you don't have to solve it. You can't. Because you're right- seeking a solution to the busy-ness and stress would add more stress; its impossible.
I think the key is realizing you can't. I also think God has an idea in store for you. Usually when people think of God acting in their life, they think they will soon be required to do something more than what they're doing. That's not always the case though- God gives but also takes away; and although not noted in the Tree63 song, some times He exchanges too.
I like the new layout, and the dark chocolate M&M.
I will offset it with a helpful suggestion:
STRESSED spelled backwards is DESSERTS. Coincidence? I think not!
I think someone's having a blog identity crisis. :)
I really like this look.
Thanks Cara!
I think I have settled on this, because I finally got the colors to look like I wanted them too with my pic of the dark and sassy green M&M!
Not all of us can have super cool hubbies who make our blogs the envy of all others!!!!!!!!
there's nothing more stressful than dealing with stress. but i agree with what lisa said.
