Today, a wonderful thing happened.

About six weeks ago I called a family who has been attending our church for several months and asked them if they would be interested in joining one of our children's teams. Ever since that phone call, they have not been back to church.

Am I paranoid? Yes. Was I completely and totally convinced I had run them off? Yes.

But tonight, they were at church! I love it when things like that happen. When God chooses to remind you in wonderful, delightful ways that He has entrusted this ministry to my care. And as long as I care for it with the best of my ability, He will take care of the details..... He will move in the hearts of those He brings....

And for Reason #8 that March is SUPER fabulous, the arrival of Jacob William Gerke! My good friends Joey and Sarah Gerke welcomed their first child into the world this morning. They are the youth pastors at our Church, and I work with Joey at the school. They have tried too many ways to count to conceive a child, and his arrival is nothing short of a miracle of God's provision.
