The bright spot in three pretty bleak days....

My new laptop arrived!
Now if my laptop knew it was coming to an electronically challenged owner, it might have tried to flip out of the box, kind of like this little laptop!!!
But alas, it knew not, so I am sitting with my new toy in my lap (with the astros winning in the background) posting on the ol blog....
A couple thoughts....
1) I haven't posted nearly enough about my Astros this season....(partly because I have sworn off talking about our former closer....and partly because I don't want to become scary obsessed with Luke Scott!)
2) There is something to be learned from the past three days...after a few margaritas it might become obvious to me.....
3) I have been blessed by such incredible friends... ber, thanks is all I can manage right now. You're awesome!
4) I am going to see my brother this summer.... just me. When we both lived in Texas, I would take a couple trips a year to see him and hang out...but since he has moved to DC, all of my trips to see him have been family affairs. I am really excited about this.
5) I am going to learn how to make homemade tortillas!
***NOTE*** In the short time it took for me to compose these thoughts, my beloved Astros have given away their two run lead......oh how sad!

Check her out. She got a computer out of the box, turned it on, set it up, got on to her network, and I did not receive a single phone call!

I'm so proud. I think you've made real progress here, lady.

terri, I sure did say margaritas! Come on over....

Joe, I have a few true confessions...I did all but the last thing you listed, I just kind of illegally jumped on a some poor fools unsecured connection...but still be proud of me! 3 out of 4 is not bad! And tonight I am going to try and transfer everything from my other laptop to the new vista operated one!!!!
