watch The Batchelor?

Here is the deal....I have watched this show in the past, but haven't for several seasons (lots of reasons, not the point of this post) but have been hearing a lot about it from the ladies at work. I think the buzz is because of the girl on the show who happens to be from our little Sugar Land, but never-the-less, I have known bits and pieces from work.

Tonight, I watched about twenty minutes while checking and answering email.

I kept trying to figure out what it was that was wierd to me about him. (other than the whole idea of being on the show.....)

I finally figured it out when he was talking about being a nerd.

He totally reminds me of the guy I dated in High school.

Add red hair to his head, and you have Brian Buck.

Maybe you should add a little more goofy mannerisms, and clothes with a little less style, but there are so many incredible similarities it was wierd for me to watch/listen to him.

The intense athleticism, the intellectual giftedness, the sometimes socially awkward way he is honest when most people would not be, the things he seemed to choose the women who stayed tonight based on something other than their physical appearance.

So, here is to hoping the Batchelor finds true love; and wishing Brian and his wife Julie the best God has to offer.
