how your weekend was?
I know it is only Saturday, but I am so excited about this weekend. This past week was hard, but God seems to be whispering some clarity and understanding into the chaos.
So, I thought I would update you on some (just some) of the things that made this weekend wonderful! Because I know you want to know.....
1) My school day Friday ended with quite an impression! Head to Cara's blog (www.carahinojosa.blogspot.com) to check out her precious son Joey's exciting Friday in Bible class. I love my job!
2) Friday night was our version of Chipotle night at Bible study...and it was awesome! The food was good, but something just felt right about the evening. I felt it most in the silence. Here's to the Mavs going all the way this season Josh!
3) Talking through my responsibility in a tough situation...Thanks for speaking truth into my life even when I might not want to hear it Amber.
4) Coffee with one of my longest, dearest friends. Pray for her. I am constantly amazed at her strength, her pure and honest pursuit of our Savior, and the lessons she teaches me about faithfulness.
5) Making Emeril's Chipotle brownies for my Fiesta tomorrow! That is right, I am throwing a Fiesta for my volunteers, and I am SOOO excited! I have all kinds of decorations, yummy food, inflatable cacti, and a costume of my own to wear! Yes, I said a costume!
6) Finding fleece fabric on sale for my summer camp projects! Woohoo!
7) My Astros have had a huge night. Let's label it the season's turning point. Here's to Hunter, welcome aboard friend, welcome aboard!
8) Ordering Upward brocheres.... we are playing soccer this fall, have I told you yet? :)
9) My man was in the line-up tonight.....must be the reason we are winning 10-1!
10) This comic (although I may be usually it illegally, oops!) made me laugh.
So, tell me about your weekend....

I just wanted to tell you again, I am SOOO proud of your incredible accomplishments. I hope you enjoy every minute of your trip, and really let the reality of what you were awarded sink in.
