from someone who is not a native Texan.
Roger, thanks for all your help. Sorry you don't have the heart to be a real Astro. Hope the Yankee's are as appreciative of you as we were....
Here's to Matt Albers, and the next wave of real Astros pitchers....

Well he never was a Roy O, that's for sure.
(For those who don't know-- I have no idea what that means so don't hurt me! haha)
Albers? You can't be serious...
This is Josh by the way...
you are in dangerous territory Lisa, but people in Houston might agree with you! You get an A for effort though!!!!
Josh...I AM serious. Just you wait and see....the future I say, the future...
So, that Longhorn spirit just didn't take since he's not a native, huh?
oh, and what happened to his beloved 22s? 28 million dollars this time?
Ber....you are on thin ice this week...better watch out...texas and Longhorn jokes on the same blog.....
The thing is this: He was never an Astro at heart. We sure wished he was, but he wasn't. It is okay. We had a good run...
And there is always hope for the Longhorn spirit to prevail for those unfortunate souls born outside of Texas...it is just rare that it takes.
Good thing your children are natives.
Very good thing.
I suspected that was going to get me in trouble...that was why I didn't know what you were "mad" at me about when you called!
The thing I don't get is what is his motive? One would hope it's not money. And if it's going out on top, it sure doesn't seem like that's very likely with the Yankees this year...
