Okay, so almost all of my Friday nights are exciting.
They might not be what first pops into your head as an exciting Friday night, but I can guarantee you we are NEVER bored.
Friday night we have home group (small group, Bible study, or whatever else you want to call it....). It is part of our lives. It is something I desperately need.
BUT, this post is about the FOOD.
Oh yea, we have such wonderful food, and DESSERTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And tonight, a first. We are going to have a chocolate fountain!!!!!! woo hoo!!!!!
So, what are you doing tonight?
What are you having for dinner?
Or what is the coolest thing you have ever seen to dip in a chocolate fountain?

Hmm. Coffee in a few minutes with a friend.
Dinner at Berry Hills with other friends.
Tomorrow is Daddy and boys afternoon. Which means Momma and Morgan afternoon.
Chocolate fountain sounds divine! With strawberries and maybe some cheesecake!!
My top 10...in no particular order, because there is never a bad time for chocolate:
1. Nothing beats a chocolate dipped strawberry!
2. I recently saw someone dip a raspberry and a blackberry. Didn't taste it, but it looked good. I've also always wanted to try a dipped pineapple.
3. This week I ate a frozen chocolate dipped banana.....yummy!
4. Put peanut butter between two Ritz crackers - and then dip it.
5. Marshmallows
6. Sugar wafer cookies
7. Chocolate dipped chocolate...that's a truffle!
8. Cheesecake balls.....buy (or make a cheescake) and then scoop into balls. Add a stick, freeze them and then dip away.
9. Chocolate dipped potato chips....ruffles or pringles are good.
10. Chocolate dipped ice cream!
Yeah for chocolate.
Laura, coffee with friends is always a wonderful thing. And I love Berry Hill...what do you order there? Sounds like your weekend is full of fun.
Susan, a top 10! You out did yourself! With some wonderful suggestions.... the chips were definetely something I never would have thought about!
Thanks!
Personally I've never seen a chocolate fountain, but I will tonight!
I don't know, but I'm pretty sure that my girls were the most excited of everyone about the chocolate fountain. Alaina wanted Ashlee's fountain to live at our house, and Jadyn just wants to make sure we have pineapple with it.
Maybe for her birthday I'll let Jadyn dip her finger in the fountain...
Well, tonight, I am in the Big Apple, so I am walking down to Rosie O'Grady's for a filet mignon, baked potato, salad and so forth, and I will stop off for an order of steamed mussels along the way.
MMMMMMMMMMMMMMm.............
Jeff
So, Lisa has now been inducted into the chocolate fountain society! And we started Amber's daughters off right....chocolate fountains before they turned five!
To all who were not with us on Friday night, I have some photos and hilarious video (if I can figure out how to upload it) from the event.
Jeff, sounds like you are making the most of your trip to the Big Apple! Are you there for business? Hope you have a wonderful time!
I order. Chicken Nachos w/ black beans w/ lots of pinapple habenero salsa. Joseph LOVES the fajitas.
Jonathan LOVES chicken tamales.
Jacob LOVES the mexi-rice.
Morgan never complains.
Oh did I mention. XX.. extra lime.
If we do it right.. we feed 5 on $26.72.. yes it is an art.
I LOVE chocolate fountains...I really think they might be one of the best inventions ever! My favorite things to put in them are pretzels, pineapple, and strawberries...but pretty much anything tastes good that way!
