I don't know what to do.
Here I sit with a day off, and I don't know what to do.
How do I ensure that my day off doesn't just turn in to another day where I just work at a slower pace?
You see I got to sleep in an hour or so, and I woke up so refreshed that I was chomping at the bit to cross things off my to do list. But, most of the things on my to do list are work items....I am thinking this must mean I have no life. I think I might be a work-a-holic.
Does anyone else have this problem?
What would you do with a day off?

Laura, I think coffee is in order too. As my memory serves me, I believe I owe you a cup of joe....what are you doing next Friday?
Friday day??
I am playing Ms Lee. From about 9ish or 10ish til 2 then picking up the boys at 230. I am a lady of leasure now.. HAAA NOT!
It seems like I always look forward to a day off and then I end up working too. I think our single status does lend itself to leaning toward workaholic - but isn't that what Paul talked about in 1 Corinthians 7:32 - 35. Specifically, "An unmarried woman is concerned about the Lord's affairs; Her aim is to be devoted to the Lord both in body and spirit."
I don't see anything wrong with working at a slower pace on your day off....that is - after you've taken a nap!
Here's what I like to do on my day off: sleep in (no alarm clock), cook breakfast, do the laundry, go grocery shopping at my own pace and without the crowds and either cook lunch or dinner. Sometimes, if I get some of that done on another day, I like to go hang out with my sister or my sweet little great nieces - and maybe cook them dinner. Other times, I just watch TV or catch up on my Netflix.
Whatever you do - enjoy it!
