Little surprises

Tonight, at soccer practice, I had all kinds of little surprises.

1) 2 more kids signed up to play soccer

2) a parent who bought me a iced coffee from the farmer's market

3) a coach and her husband came up and tilled our fields yesterday, our worship pastor mowed today, and so I was able to (with the help of another wonderful volunteer) paint all the fields for Saturdays games.

4) Some parents asked one of my coaches when we were going to start Upward Basketball....whoa!

5) A coach, who has had some serious reservations about coaching since the season began, told me her perspective had totally changed since Saturday. She said that the first game made it all worth it, and that her spirit had been totally renewed!!!!! What an incredible answer to prayer...simply amazing!

6) Did I mention the free coffee????

Okay, and although this little surprise did not happen today, I got the cutest surprise on Wednesday. Amber made me a pair of soccer ball earrings!!!!!! They are so cute! I can hardly wait to wear them on game day. I guess she was serious about sharing her soccer queen crown with me!!!!!!!!! Thanks ber, you are awesome!
