I might be crazy...

This is not a news flash to most of you...

But as I am sitting here at my desk I realized I must confess something to you, my fabulous blog readers.

I am a to-do list nut.

I am a bit overwhelmed at everything that has to happen before I leave Sunday for my much anticipated week of vacation. I have to make sure everything will be covered for the Sunday I am out, on top of having a very important meeting to lead Sunday before I can depart.

Oh yeah, and I have to pack and do all that other stuff to get road ready for my ROAD TRIP!!!

So, just in case I might happen to get amnesia, I have a to do list....

....that go happens to be six pages long!

I am not even joking!

Who in their right mind has a to-do list that long?

So, confess yourselves.... are you a to-do list nut or do you just remember what needs to be done everyday?

(Note: I was going to take a picture of my lists, so you could see the insanity, but then I didn't think I was quite ready to be THAT open with ya'll!)

If my day planner counts as a to-do list then, yes. Generally I try to keep track of to-do's in my head, but if there are several things that have different time frames or that can't begin immediately (so I have to leave them out of my decision making process for the time being), I will forget them and have to write them down.

Oh Heidi....I am feeling even more self-conscious about my lists as I began a page seven this afternoon. And the overwhelming urge to create a trip to do list keeps sneaking into my head....

If I could just finish everything on one list I would feel so, so lovely.... ugh.

But I totally agree that the most beautiful thing about a to do list is the crossing off!!!!

I love lists, too. I've even been know to add things I've accomplished that day just to have the pleasure of crossing them off **hanging head in shame**. Claire and I are looking forward to seeing you in Arlington during the big road trip!

I admit, I am a very dedicated list maker. And I also look forward to crossing things off (even adding things just to cross them off....how pathetic am I?). Here is a great little place on the web for list makers, although I much rather have my paper and pen to do lists! www.tadalist.com

Oh yeah, how is your list coming, are you back down to 6 pages yet?

We are down to three and 1/2 pages! Although, I must admit I moved one item onto a different page just to get one whole page completed..... :)

I have great hopes for a post with all lists completed, and CROSSED OFF in glorious multi-lined cross-off manner!
