Four years.
I have been serving at my Church for four years now. That's right, four years.
For 48 months I have been learning about life in the country, and what it takes to plant a church (in the country!) and be a part of a team.
For 208 weeks I have been challenged to embrace change. Just a couple of the minor ways my job has changed over the past 208 weeks; my position was originally temporary, then part-time, and now is full-time. We started in hallways of a rented facility, built a building, moved in, and have switched set-ups for the children's ministry no less than four times since moving in to the building. We now run three different Upward Sports, on 15 acres of land that was not even cleared or inhabited (by humans!) 208 weeks ago.
For 1460 days I have fallen more and more in love with where God has called me. Not all of those 1460 days I realized that I was in fact falling in love, but today I can see how the days of struggle and turmoil have so deeply enriched my love and gratitude for where God has brought me and all that He has done around me.
I pray the next four years will be just as exciting, fun, and difficult as the last four.

Congrats! Four years in ministry can seem like an eternity some days or a blink of an eye other days. Thanks for loving and serving those kids well, especially the ones that I like. :)
Thanks Raj! Sure think you would be a fabulous addition to our team...any chance you might consider Texas as a possible location?
If you stick around here for four years you might even get a $150 gift card to Starbucks!!!
You all grown up, Miss Ashlee! Very proud of you. Very proud. Love you much!!
($150 to Starbucks...seriously???? I think I would faint. That's AWESOME!)
I know...who knew that they even put that much on Starbucks gift cards??!?!?!? I was very surprised...no fainting though!
