So, I have scarf envy.
I love seeing women with scarves as an accessory, not necessarily because there is a neccessity to wear one.
Several blogs I read have recently had "tutorials" about how to tie scarves. And, wouldn't you know it I received the most beautiful red scarve as a Christmas present.
So, this morning, armed with my fab new scarf and a black t-shirt, and the knowledge from my scarf tutorials, I was determined to be cute.
Upon trying to tie my scarf in all the fun ways I had been taught, I came to the realization that perhaps my scarf is too short for the fun ways to tie I have learned.
So, are any of my loyal blog readers scarf fashionistas?
I am pretty sure I am still going to wear the scarf, because let's face it...it's almost nine and I am blogging about my outfit for the day instead of being productive!!!
What are you wearing today?

Scarves...

I'm wearing my "good" work slacks with my "good" green button up work shirt (newest that I have and it's also the only one not bought at an outlet AND to cost more than $10) and my trusty seven year old black light-jacket for work. No scarf, but the jacket has a mischievous cloth belt on it which somehow always manages to get pulled way unevenly to one side of the jacket several times throughout the day.
I own about 10 scarves and circle thru them on a daily basis. The trick is definitely in the length. I have some short ones that only look cool draped around the neck. I feel your pain.
I love scarves. What if you find a matching or contrasting scarf and either sew it together or pin it with a pretty pin.
My attire for today.
My new jeans. (ehemm. 1 size smaller)
My favorite, I feel beautiful, black top and my flip flops ( I painted my toes and they need showing off).
Of course with this fab weather I am having a most fantastic hair day and it could be why I am in such a great mood!! ; )
Thanks for the suggestion Jenn... I think the moral of the story is a need more than one scarf! :)
I do find it hilarious that Laura and I live in the same city, and yet are wearing totally opposite attires. Me in my scarf and boots (granted I am just wearing a t-shirt and jeans) and she is wearing flip flops and talking about the beautiful weather!
Welcome to winter in south Texas folks....
i wear a scarf frequently as well, but it is under my heavy winter coat and usually has gloves to go with it! i have to admit, i haven't worn them as an accessory just yet, but maybe i should try. (you've been visiting angie's blog, haven't you? :) ).
i was just excited that i got to wear almostbutnotquite spring shoes without socks today!
