I have tried, rather unsuccessfully, to get online long enough to post something new on my blog...I know it may sound sad, but I have missed blogging (or really my blogging friends!)...
The conference I am attending has far surpassed my expectations.
I have been challenged, renewed, revitalized, and completely energized for the ministry God is calling me to be a part of...
The speakers are dynamic.
The atmosphere is electric.
The people are all working and serving children across the country and across the world, because they believe igniting the faith of a child is a powerful thing.
So many amazing things I want to share, but I have narrowed it down to one. David Staal spoke one afternoon and his message kept reminding us about the things in life that aren't guarantees. The sometimes things...sometimes your ministry will grow faster than you are prepared for, sometimes your volunteers will not be reliable, sometimes your object lessons will fail, sometimes people will hurt you, sometimes you will be operating off of your own strength and not His, sometimes you will believe the lies that are you not worth the space you take up on this planet.....
You fill in the sometimes.
We all have them. And there are lots of sometimes in life. There are very few always...very few.
But we serve the God of Always.
God ALWAYS loves you.
God ALWAYS listens to you.
God is ALWAYS with you.
God is ALWAYS right.
God is ALWAYS the same.
God ALWAYS is, He never ceases to be God.
The God of ALWAYS has a never ending love for you. Won't you trust in, rely upon, and lean into His arms?
He is the God of always.
And He waits for you. Right now. Run to Him...

"I the Lord do not change."
Perfect timing, Ashlee...thank you...
that's a really cool way of looking at things. and it's totally true... i like that. there is one thing in my life that is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
For me it's so, well, relieving that at least one thing in my life won't change. ALWAYS.
This conference sounds mucho awesome-o.
