Lately I have been wondering why certain things are better off kept as secrets than shared with all those you love and interact with....
And then I have wondered if sometimes I don't try to simplify my own life by keeping things a secret even to myself..... (yes, Amber would call this denial but in all fairness it is just keeping a secret, right?!?!?!)
Then, oh then there are the moments of clarity that God brings where you begin to see how prayers and longings of your heart months ago are being brought to light now. The funny thing is I had already begun to bury those longings and pleadings within my heart....He is so faithful.
It seems like over the past two months God has continued to remind me of His faithfulness, of the journey we are on, and the progress He is making in my life.
I am still astonished and amazed at His patience and love with me.
So, there is something brewing in my life right now, and honestly, I don't think even I know what it is all about. But what I do know is that I am ready to hang on for the ride, and see what God has in store...And as I follow with my eyes wide shut, I am going to store in my heart the markers of His faithfulness that I come across on this journey.

Good post, but I always want to know more detail about the actual situation when you write these thoughtful things. I'm sitting here wondering, 'what was she longing for two months ago?' Hm. But thanks for the thoughtful post.
Was your conclusion that keeping secrets is sometimes wise, or that keeping secrets is said to be wiser, but you don't necessarily agree?

Lisa, conclusions...am i supposed to have come to one?!!?!?!? Just kidding. My conclusion was more that sometimes there is a price to keeping some things a secret (whether it is wiser or not).
Lindsay, it is a testimony only to God's faithfulness...but I am thankful He can use me to encourage others. I LOVE your new pic!
