...seen a Bible cake before?

...or Texas chocolate raspberry truffle bars?
Okay, so what is the most unique birthday cake you have ever had? Or what is your favorite birthday cake?
A place for the ramblings, no matter how trivial or profound they may be, of a thirtysomething seeking more of Him.

wow... that cake is intense! :-)
there are two birthday cakes that i can remember... one, my mother once gave me a hostess ding-dong for a birthday cake, and stuck candles in it. i think i was only like two or three or something. but i swear i can remember that.
then my mom got some mad cake baking skills and made me for like my 7th or 8th birthday a barbie cake. she made her "dress" out of the cake and icing.... it was the most beautiful thing i had ever seen.
those are the two i remember....
oh, and happy birthday!!!!!
...wow... a texas cake...
i haven't really had any unique birthday cakes. maybe i'm cake-deprived?
i don't remember how old i was...6, 7 maybe and instead of a cake my mom made a ton of cupcakes and they were different colors. then she had made a tablecloth with a clown on it holding a bunch of balloons...only all that was on the table cloth were the strings of the balloons...all the cupcakes she made were placed on the strings and they were the balloons. it was great!!
Diana from work made such a cute cake for some "football season" event. The cake was a football field with icing yard lines, goal posts decorations, and she had made a different set of cocoa rice krispie treats which had white icing for laces like a football. One of those was on the "field" of the cake, and the rest were sitting on a plate next to it.
During baseball season she made white sugar cookies with red icing "stitching", and recently for the basketball deal-thing, she made cupcakes with basketball designed-icing, or hoops drawn on them.
Mmm the Truffle one looks yummy...
My sister in law made a 'cat box cake' for my dad.. (he HATES cats). She made the cake and put nerds on top and stuck some chunks of chocolate in it. and put a 'new' scopper in it .. and actually served the cake with it.. I would not touch it.. But I heard it tasted good.
And I have made the 'Ice cream sundae cake.' You make a regular cake and just before serving you put everything for a banana split on top.. So It looks like a huge sundae.. It is yummy.
