The perfect end to a birthday month of celebration!

I was about fifteen feet from Luke Scott last night.

The on deck circle was so close I could have made it to the circle faster than the players in the dug out.

I love exhibition games.

I love baseball.

I love the optimism, and lack of limitation to an incredible season.

And I love the fact that Luke Scott hit the winning homer (2 runs, no less) in the bottom of the eighth to win the game!

The blessings I received this week have been unimaginable. Unexpected gifts, amazing friends to celebrate with, and so many wonderful things.
