Black Walnut Cafe

Do you like trying new places to eat?

It used to not be something all that appealing to me, but then I got some great, and adventurous, friends who make trying new places so much fun.

We used to be very good at being in the know of all the new places, but recently we have not done so well.

Today, we had success. Lunch at the Black Walnut Cafe, which was a HUGE success! I had the best sandwich I think I have ever had in my entire life. No joke.

And I know I will return because their desserts were quite an impressive assortment of divine looking and sounding desserts.

So, have you tried anywhere new lately?

Yes, more comments from me to come. Where is this cafe? It sounds good.

It is over by FC Mall, in the strip of stores that they built behind the Cheesecake Factory, and in front of the mall. Does that make sense? And I was totally going to suggest that we meet there for dessert one night instead of coffee.....would you be able to join one week? I know, I know...class.....

you know, me and a couple of other girls here in my office have started the "first friday" lunch club. on the first friday of each month we go to lunch to a place that none of us have ever been to. it's really fun. we have now officially discovered the best burger place in town and the place that has the biggest and best cookies.

now, i'm always on the lookout for hole in the wall places that we can try.

we are wild and crazy.

I had no idea that you didn't like to try new places. Not that it really would have mattered... :)

Terri, how wonderful! A first Friday club...that is an awesome idea! I bet you do look at eateries a little different when you are trying to find new places. I might have to borrow your idea!
So, you discovered the best cookies? Do tell more about them...

ber, yup. Perhaps your crazy influence on my life I would have been happy to eat at the same five or ten places (ordering the same thing) for at least another decade. The risk of wasting my time and money on something that might not be up to my tastebuds longings was too risky for me. See, I have grown over the past couple of years!
