A complicated question! Hmm. I remember 'not liking' when it seemed like God was trying to get my attention by giving me really difficult situations that would require me to grow and also seek him (eventually). But where I used to only see him challenging me, in recent years I see him tangibly comforting me too.
ashlee...your question has inspired a blog...but i will take too much space here in this comment section...
I don't wonder.. i know He is. He always is.. with little voices and big voices.. the question for me is more... Am I listening?
