And if the title didn't warn you....
I have active wild yeasts growing in my sourdough starter!!!! (Yes, this is good!) My second try seems to be an overachieving batch of starter, as it is a full 24 hours ahead of schedule. The top picture shows the coloration (which is very good, if it turns gray or red you have toxic starter and must abort immediately!) and the below picture is an attempt to show the bubbles already forming in the starter. This wasn't supposed to happen until tomorrow, so I am very optimistic about the end result....
