Or perhaps they are not so random, but since it's my blog and all...
(Seriously, you come here to read this stuff?!?!?!)
In top five fashion...
5. I am going to play Bunco tonight. I love Bunco, and I haven't had the opportunity to play in such a long time. I am actually excited about going...
4. My awareness that it is actually mere days away from being September has almost brought me to tears this week. Where, oh where, did summer go?
3. My Christmas presents for my volunteers came in this week! Or shall I say the materials for making the Christmas presents for my volunteers came in this week. I am super excited to begin this project, and know I will have to call Heidi for lots of help.... :)
2. I am seven days away from seeing my brother (who will be working-and partying-his tail off at the convention this week)! Actually my entire family, aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, and loved ones will be together for Labor Day weekend. What a special treat! More on that later...
1. I finally, after months of waiting, got my hair cut yesterday. I like it, and will have to get used to fixing it before you get pictures, so don't get your hopes up yet!
Happy Friday!
So, share your randomness with the rest of us in the comment section...... come on, you know you want to....

terri's random thought for the day:
toads make dogs foam at the mouth.
it's true. it's freaky. it happens. and when it happens to your little 4.6 lb cutey patootie yorkie, ya tend to freak out a bit. (especially since, at the time, i didn't know it was from a toad...every other horror went through my mind instead)
but, alas, it was a toad.
note to selves: don't put a toad in your mouth. don't let your dog do it either else panic mode may set in.
there it is. terri's random thought for the day.
bunco?!? is it like the 'holy rollers'?
Terri, thanks for the info about the toad! A similar FYI-- being sprayed by a skunk will also cause foaming (if it gets in her mouth). I can only assume my dog had her mouth happily and obliviously hanging open when she was observing the skunk. She seems equally unaware of the fact that this was an aggressive action by the skunk and that she STINKS a lot! She was just so happy and proud, prancing around all smelly.
Ashlee, I've never played Bunco. What type of game is it?
Look at your fancy GoStats counter, Ashlee! Wow you are so fancy.
