Sharpie Sunday, part two

Meet the Edwards. This Sunday was a big day for them. Not only did they come prepared with a Scripture to write on the slab, but they decided they were ready to jump on board and join ministry teams. They have been coming to Creekside almost two years. At first we would see them every so often, but now they rarely miss a Sunday. They are givers, truly generous givers of their time and resources, which our church and community has greatly benefitted from.
Meet the Koethers. Although I would like to hold their Aggie status against them, you couldn't meet two nicer, kinder people. I will never forget the first time they came to Creekside. Their son screamed and cried so loudly that everyone in the lobby stopped and stared into the nursery. He did this for the better part of six months. Sure the amount of time he screamed bloody murder shortened, but he still always screamed.

They kept leaving him, as I kept encouraging them that one day he would not cry at all. I can remember wondering if what I was telling them was actually going to be true!

Now, he runs into his class and never looks back! And, they have a precious little girl.

Isn't it just amazing to see husbands and wives reading and writing God's Word together?
And, just for a better scene of what was going on, here is one corner of the building. To think one day there will be walls there, and salvation and Hope will reach even more people.
