This poor little blog has been rather neglected this month, and I feel the need to share with you how that happened.
So, here's the deal: I don't have the slightest clue.
It could be that the last six months finally caught up with me and I have been doing some grieving and emotional evaluations about the ministry I left, and the one I am now serving in full-time.
But is that really enough to neglect one's blog?
Or maybe it has something to do with the 160 kids signed up to play basketball at our church. Yup, that country church without a full size basketball court or gymnasium, or barely enough room to squeeze in two youth size courts.
But come on now... it's not like there are 300 kids playing basketball!
Or maybe it is related to the fact that I decided to endeavor a crafty Christmas project for someone really dear to my heart (with YOUR encouragement!) and still have NOT started!
But we all have our Christmas present drama, don't we?
Well, whatever the reason, or reasons, this little blog has been very lonely this month. So, as a Christmas present to you- dear bloggy friends- I vow to present to you the 12 days of Christmas, Ashlee style. (via the blog, brought to you directly through your computer screen.)
So, check in tomorrow for Day One of Ashlee's first annual 12 days of Christmas.
Or maybe I will start on Day 12 and count down.
(As you can see I have this all figured out and have spent countless hours deciding how to deliver this gift to you....)
P.S. I have tried several times to sift through all the HTML, mostly to decide that it is just more than my non-HTML brain can handle. I am sure Lisa's directions are correct...there are just so many letters and numbers staring back at me... perhaps someone will magically sign in to my blogger account and fix it for me as a Christmas present!!!! Bloggy Santa, are you listening to me????

I think you have several friends who will be a Bloggy Santa for you. Do we have to hack your account or would you prefer to willingly provide access in some fashion?
I am looking forward to the 12 days of Christmas!! Yay.
I have no doubt that Bloggy Santa (aka Lisa) could hack into my account without breaking a sweat, but perhaps I shall provide access to the bloggy Santa!
So glad someone is looking forward to the 12 days of Christmas! :) Now off to figure out what that might entail!!!!
oh yes! i've just been waiting for something like 12 days of christmas sassy ashlee style! i, for one, love the pink...just leave it. :)
Dear Bloggy Santa,
I am wondering, dear bloggy santa, if there is something dull or boring about my personality? I don't mean to be picky, or ungrateful, but I was wondering if you might consider chaning one of the sections (perhaps the post section) to red? I promise it will be the last thing on my list this year.
Grateful Blogger,
Ashlee
Sure but if that's too rough on the eyes, you could consider a pink.
Says Ashlee to herself...
Says Bloggy Santa:
Sure, but if that's too rough on the eyes you could consider a pink. ;)
well, i'm a little confused by the comments, but I LOVE THE RED! Yippeeee!!!
Sorry for the confusion- I left a comment after editing but I forgot I was still logged in as Ashlee!
I have been hacked! Someone leaving comments as ME....on my own blog!!! :)
Thanks Bloggy Santa!
I like the red, what do you all think?
