Poll dancing...better late than never!

It has been one of those weeks.

Actually, it has been one of those months.

Can anyone else out there relate?

Well, I had every intention of some funny, hilarious, attention grabbing poll for us all to dance to, but I just can't seem to formulate it in my head.

So, this week's edition is open ended.... write your own response. Funniest, most clever, or best answer just may get to do their own poll dance on this here blog next Friday!

What is your most memorable Valentine's Day?

aw....Valentine's Day!

at the risk of being shunned forever from blog-land, I will come clean and admit that the hubs and i do not celebrate V Day. never have. not even now that we have kids that are old enough to get it. no dinner, no flowers, no chocolate, no little teddy bears...nothing. i know, we're practically non-American.

i can, however, tell you some great stories from Groundhog Day Parties that we've had!

just kidding.

I am not a big V day person either. I don't have any special memories. Although, today was a rather fun experience. I went to the Galleria ( I haven't been for like 5 years...it is just not my thing). I walked around for a while and ate brunch. I went and walked through Tiffany & Co. looking at engagement rings while wishful thoughts filled my mind. Then I went to Guitar Center (this always equals a good day). Lastly, I made valentine's day cookies...yum!!! That is about as memorable as it gets.

I'm a little late getting in on this poll dancing session but.......
Tye and I got engaged on Valentine's Day so it's always going to be an anniversary of sorts. We walked around a lake, in the mud, dressed like we were going to prom. Hilarious because there was a guy out in the lake fishing, looking at us like we were super out of place. Tye proposed as the sun was setting at the lake and then we went to dinner.
I sort of love holidays of all shapes and sizes....mainly because I love giving gifts (and would be lying if I didn't say I loved receiving gifts also)

We were in the non-celebrated category until 3 years ago. Now The Man goes all out. Last year I got a fab set of James Avery hoop earrings and flowers.
This year. Dinner(friday night) and then a trip to the nail salon and a gift card for starbucks.
He knows what I like.
He does better and better each year. So this year is most memorable. : )
