SURPRISE!

I love a good surprise.

Let me re-phrase that, I love to plan a good surprise. The whole being surprised part, I am a little hard to understand when it comes to that. In fact, I can only think of one or two times in my life where I have genuinely been surprised...

I have jumped ship already.

I love to plan a good surprise. And right now, I have a couple of surprise pots brewing AND I COULD NOT BE MORE EXCITED.

The trouble? I am at my limit! I got a phone call today from a dear friend who shared some news with me, and then uttered these words, "No one else knows yet, so if you could help us keep this a surprise..." and instead of my heart soaring (like it normally would when I am part of a secret surprise....) it dropped.

I just want to spill the beans and see some surprises come to life....

So today, I made a whole HUGE deal out of something that wasn't even a real surprise. Wednesdays are my half days, and I take Jadyn and Alaina to the Little Gym. Usually we grab lunch some place special, or get a special drink afterward, or something to make the day fun.

Today, I kept our plan a secret, and said everything was a SURPRISE!

You would have thought it was Christmas. We had such a special day, loads of fun, and I got my fix for surprises!
