Today...

Not only is today my brother's birthday, but is also Day #10 in the 30 Rock Tour.

I love my brother. I wish he lived closer, and I wished it was easier for us to talk more consistently, but we have the kind of relationship where I know we will always be able to tell each other the important things. I never have to wonder if difficult decisions about our parents will cause tension between us, because I know Mike and I won't let that happen (plus, he will just let me make all the hard decisions...right Mike?).

Today he turns 31, with probably a lot less fanfare than last year (although he did not have a 30 Rock Tour...) but that is probably quite alright with him.

I have always admired my brother's wisdom, and his very generous heart.

He is a wonderful brother, and the best big brother I could have ever asked for!
