It doesn't get better than this...at least as far as college football is concerned.
This National Championship lived up to all its hype, and surpassed it in my biased opinion.
The thing I loved the most; Vince Young finally getting the recognition he deserved, as well as Mack Brown. Those two have been thrashed by the media across the nation. Vince was outrageously denied even a close vote in the Heisman race (Reggie who?) which further proved how little these "experts" know about TEXAS football.
Anyone who has had any length of conversation with me this fall has heard me rant and rave about Vince being denied his Heisman...tonight, he made the Heisman voters look like fools. Texas shut their winner up so soundly he was actually the reason they scored one of their touchdowns...
And USC, well, with the greatest football player in the past fifty years on their team in addition to a Heisman winning quarterback, were unable to contain the "InVINCEable" Mr. Young.
So, my dear friends, thank you for joining in my celebration. I will not quickly, if ever, forget this night. The legacy continues....Live the dream!

You are too funny, congrats on the win!!
Thanks...for the compliment and the congrats!!! Keita (you remember him don't you?) brought in the signs of the zodiac today and one of the characteristics of my sign was cleverly witty....
I don't know about all that....but it also said I am likely to distrust people...insightful.
again, i say "hook em' horns!"
i thought of you and your dad numerous times last night when i would hear the score. i'm so glad they won...for your sake!
Well, congrats on the win. I really am happy for you, Paul, and the rest of the UT faithful.
Not only did Texas make USC look bad, but also the Texas "gamblers" who "would have liked to see UT win, but USC is the smarter bet." Yes, I'm talking about me and, for the first time, I will say, this week only: 8 out of 10....
Congrats again and I can't wait until my Dukies win it all in March!!
GO DUKE!!!
Thanks terrip and Josh...the sleep depreviation was worth it for the memories...
Josh, don't think I will let you forget the eight out of ten....music to my ears....
HOOK EM!!!
I know, it is a bit surprising that I haven't done anything cruel...isn't it?
No need to rub it in, the boys did enough of that on the field.
Thanks for the congrats...means a lot coming from you!
