Some Happy Birthdays are in order....

To Joe, hope being an old man doesn't get you down too much. Okay, so you're really just the oldest man in our home group, but you wear that title well. Or as one of my Kindergarten students told me, "You're not old, just your hair is!"


And to Heidi Jo....Wish I could celebrate this birthday with you in person, but will wear our winning PJs in your honor. I have had so many fun, meaningful, cherished memories that include you....thanks for being my always friend.


And for those who adhere to this opinion....
Yesterday Alaina told me adults don't celebrate birthdays....just kids do. As I inquired of this philosophy, I learned it was the parties, presents, and cupcakes that adults are not privy to....so, I guess she was nicely telling me to grow up!

Best of luck with that Alaina, because I plan on throwing myself a birthday party every year!!!!
