A poll in honor of Lil' James

I once lived in a palace.

Or at least that is what we called it!

My friend, Lil' James, asked me back in July to post this poll on my blog. (Did you see the new poll? Did you vote? Go vote now. Go. Do it. Thank you.)

I keep forgetting.

But today, I remembered. I told her I wasn't going to start a My Space page unless twenty people voted and the winner response was yes.....

So, here is me, making good on my polling promises.

Lil' James lived in The Palace too. So did some squirrels, but that my friends is a story for another day!

Please don't forget to read the previous post....and comment away!

I know that you spend a lot of time with children, but myspace is a magical land reserved for jr. high girls, old men hitting on jr. high girls, and people acting like jr. high girls.

Please don't waste your time.

Think facebook.

Oh dear Raj, thank you for your comment! That is exactly how I feel about my space, by my dear friend is trying to convince me otherwise.

Myspace is great for seeing another side of what people *actually* act like. A lot of times the MySpace page is very different from the impression you get from Facebook or a blog. We can do a test and look up some of your Facebook friends on MySpace and compare. :)

I think it's mostly useful for when you're getting to know new people and/or for finding old friends.

nice...i like to keep things simple, which is why i only have facebook...and no blog or myspace. plus, it's fun to be a blog lurker and i don't feel any unnecessary pressure to post anything if i don't want to. (so there.) :)

so, i'm against the myspace. isn't it all the same anyway?

sorry james....

ps...tell the palace stories on here...you could have "Palace Memory Mondays"! now, wouldn't that be fun?!?!?

Oh Heidi, I will consider your "Palace Memory Mondays" only if you will commit to being the guest author of one of those posts...

Joe, isn't that actually THREE words... :)

Where is Lil' James?!?!? Maybe I should close the poll today before she gets to weigh in...

i agree w/heidi about sharing palace stories...i thought of her the other day when i set my PLASTIC butter lid on my hot burner...
